30 Days of Poetry 2014

April is National Poetry Month, a monthlong celebration of all things poetry. Started in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets, the month is designed to "band [poets] together to celebrate poetry and its vital place in American culture."

Very well. Then let's do our part.

In the month of April, The New Poet will publish the work of one poet every day, from April 1 through April 30. Let's help make poetry a part of our daily habits ... among the many others.
